Reframax conducted refractory and mechanical maintenance activities at Anglo American’s units in Goiás. In Niquelândia, repairs were carried out on calciner furnaces I and II and also on electric furnaces I and II. The entire project lasted 10 days and included a planned eight-day shutdown. Meanwhile, in Barro Alto, repairs were made to calciner furnaces I and II and maintenance was performed on the electrodes of electric furnaces I and II, with a planned shutdown involving a team of 160 workers.
