Recently, Reframax completed its work on refractory, mechanical, and electrical maintenance services during the general shutdown at Vale’s unit in Ourilândia do Norte (PA). The project included the demolition and repair of refractories in calciners 1 and 2, silos 1 and 2, ducts 5, 6, and 7 of the chimneys on the North and South sides, as well as the disassembly and assembly of bricks around the seals of the electric furnace electrodes. In the mechanical and electrical areas, the company was involved in planning, execution, maintenance, supply of materials, inputs, equipment, and also in detailed projects for the relevant maintenance activities.

Denilton Tenório, the Works Manager, highlights the fact that, once again, Reframax’s expertise allowed the project to be completed on time and with the quality required by the client. “In the electromechanical project, we had approximately 40,000 man-hours without accidents. The leadership team was a significant differential, recognized by the client.”
